Welcome to a lively place to meet, eat, drink, dance or simply relax your night away by the Harbour as Sydney counts down to it’s vibrant New Year’s Eve celebrations. Sunset at the Point is a family friendly festival within a festival, mixing the intimacy of a backyard party with the understated style of a Sydney beach cafe.
Shifting energies
I created a refreshing visual identity that set the scene for how the night itself will evolve. I used two colourways to visualise the shift from a relaxing day to a celebratory night. The pastel colour palette conveyed summer itself whilst the fluid gradients brought a sense of shifting energies. Beyond the party’s printed collateral, the colour shift translated particularly well in lighting and contributed to an enchanting experience for guests celebrating by Sydney’s great harbour.
